Gentle Herbal Facial Cleanser

Herbal Cleanser

Gently cleanse skin with this herbal facial cleanser!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup dried chamomile
  • 1/3 cup dried rose petals
  • 2/3 oat flour
  • water

 

Directions:

  • Combine dried chamomile and rose petals and grind until fine
  • Combine oat flour with grinded mix; mix well
  • Add a tablespoon of water to the mixture at a time; stirring after each tablespoon is added until a creamy paste forms
  • Place the mixture in a saucepan over low heat for 5 minutes (this will create a creamier consistency)
  • Remove from heat and let mixture cool
  • Once cooled, apply the mixture to skin (avoid the eye area)
  • Gently massage into skin
  • Rinse with warm water

Pineapple and Olive Oil Facial Mask

Treat your face to a refreshing facial mask!
Ingredients:
  • 4 large pineapple chunks
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
Directions:
  • Combine the ingredients in a blend; blend until nearly smooth
  • Apply mixture to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Let sit for 15 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

Mandarin Orange and Almond Facial Scrub

Ingredients:

  • 3 tsp. almond meal
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. mandarin juice

 

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well
  • Apply to face (avoid the eye area)
  • Gently massage mixture into skin for a couple of minutes
  • Rinse with water

After Sun Raspberry Facial Mask

Treat skin that has been over exposed to the sun with this soothing and refreshing raspberry facial mask!

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 ripe raspberries
  • 1 tsp. honey

 

Directions:

  • Using a fork, mash raspberries so that juices are released
  • Combine raspberry juices with honey; mix well
  • Apply to a clean face
  • Let sit for 15-20 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well

Baking Soda Hair Rinse

Rinse away impurities and dirt from your hair and leave it looking shiny and healthy with this hair rinse!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1 cup warm water

Directions:

  • Add the baking soda to the warm water; dissolve
  • After shampooing hair, apply the hair rinse
  • Gently massage into hair and scalp for a few minutes
  • Rinse with water

Peppermint Foot Scrub

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/4 cup sweet almond oil
  • 2-3 drops peppermint essential oil

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well
  • Prior to applying mixture, soak feet in warm water for 10-15 minutes
  • Apply mixture to feet and gently massage into skin for a few minutes
  • Let sit for 10 minutes
