Hydrating and Nourishing Egg White Face Mask

All of the vitamins and healthy fats in this 3 ingredient face mask are just what you need to combat dry skin.  Your skin will be left looking and feeling soft, smooth and healthy.

 

What you need:

  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp. greek yogurt (plain)

What you do:

  • Mash the avocado in a bowl until you get a creamy and lump-free paste-like consistency
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well until you have a creamy paste
  • Apply the mixture to a clean face and let it sit for 15 minutes
  • Rinse the mixture off with warm water and follow up with a moisturizer

Healthy Smoothie for Glowing Skin

Glowing Skin Smoothie

Give your skin a healthy and natural glow with this green smoothie that is packed with lots of minerals and vitamins!

 

What you need:

  • 1 c. kale
  • 1 c. spinach
  • 1 pear
  • 1 orange
  • 1 banana
  • 1 c. seedless grapes
  • 1 c. ice
  • 1 c. coconut water
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds

What you do:

  • Remove the core and seeds from the pear and peel and pit the orange; add them to your blender
  • Add the remaining ingredients to your blender and blend all until smooth
  • Enjoy your smoothie immediately

D.I.Y. Kiwi Facial Cleansing Cream

Cleanse skin of impurities with this summery kiwi facial cleansing cream!

Ingredients:

  • 1 peeled kiwi
  • 2 tbsp. plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. almond oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1  tsp. finely ground almonds

 

Directions:

  • Puree the kiwi in a blender or food processor
  • Add the remaining ingredients; blend until a thick creamy paste forms
  • Apply to face and gently massage into skin
  • Rinse with warm water

Blueberry Aloe Eye Mask D.I.Y.

Give your eyes a relaxing and cooling eye treatment on a hot summer day that will leave them looking bright and refreshed!

Ingredients:

  • Handful cold blueberries
  • 2 tbsp. aloe vera gel

Directions:

  • Mash blueberries using a fork
  • Add the aloe vera gel to the mashed blueberries; stir well
  • Gently dab the mixture under your eyes
  • Let sit for 20 minutes
  • Gently wipe away mask and rinse with lukewarm water

Peach and Egg White Firming Facial Mask

Treat your face to this firming facial mask that will leave you feeling like you just came from the spa!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe peach (peeled and de-stoned)
  • 1 egg white

Directions:

  • Add ingredients to a blender; blend until smooth
  • Apply mixture to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Let sit for 30 minutes
  • Rinse with cool water

Apple, Pear and Mint Facial Cleanser

A make-at-home moisturizing facial cleanser that is suitable for dry to normal skin types!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 5 slices pear
  • 5 slices apple
  • 5 slices cucumber
  • 1 tsp. dried mint
  • Few drops of honey

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender; blend until mixture is smooth
  • Apply to face and neck; gently massage mixture into skin
  • Rinse with water

*Can be refrigerated in and used daily for up to a week

  • 1 tbsp. applesauce

  • Combine all ingredients; blend well (you can blend by hand or by using a blender)
  • Apply to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Gently massage into skin
  • Rinse with warm water
