Cranberry Facial Cleansing Mask

Cranberry Facial Cleanser

Cleanse and purify your skin with this tart cranberry cleansing mask!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp. bentonite clay
  • 1 tsp. organic yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. raw honey
  • 1/2 cup blended cranberries
  • 1/4 cup cranberry juice

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well
  • Apply mixture to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Let sit for 15 minutes
  • Rinse with cold water

Cinnamon Hand and Foot Soak

This spicy soak will leave hands and feet feeling super soft!

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

 

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl; mix well
  • Microwave the mixture for 20-30 seconds until warm (but not hot)
  • Soak hands and feet in the mixture for 10 minutes
  • Rinse with water
  • Follow up with your favorite moisturizer

D.I.Y. Face Primer Cream

Save yourself some money and create your own moisturizing face primer!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. aloe vera gel (go for natural and not the green)
  • 2 tbsp. moisturizing cream
  • 1 tbsp. foundation (that matches your skin color)

Directions:

  • Combine all the ingredients; mix well until smooth
  • Transfer the mixture into a jar or container for storage
  • Apply to clean skin and let fully dry before applying makeup

Cornmeal and Honey Hand and Foot Scrub

Treat your feet and your hands to this nourishing hand and foot scrub!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. cornmeal
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
  • 2 drops lemon essential oil

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well
  • Apply to wet hands and feet and gently massage into skin
  • Let sit for 5 minutes
  • Rinse with water
  • Follow up with your favorite moisturizer

Exfoliating Lemon Foot Scrub

Lemon Foot Scrub

Treat your feet to this deliciously exfoliating lemony foot scrub!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon

Directions:

  • Blend oats in a blender or food processor until powdery
  • Transfer the blended oats into a bowl with the cornmeal and salt; mix well
  • Add the lemon to the mixture; mix well
  • Add a little bit of water to the mixture and stir until a paste forms (keep adding water until you get the mixture to a paste form)
  • Apply the mixture to feet and massage into skin
  • Rinse with water
  • Follow up with your favorite moisturizer

Mayonnaise Baby Oil Dry Skin Treatment

Moisturize dry skin with this delicious skin treatment!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. baby oil

Directions:

  • Combine all the ingredients; mix well
  • Smooth onto skin (face, neck, rough elbows/knees and any where else where you have dry skin)
  • Let sit for 20 minutes
  • Rinse with water

Shea Butter D.I.Y. Lotion Bar

Moisturize skin with this soothing Shea butter lotion bar!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. beeswax beads
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa butter
  • 1 tbsp. shea butter
  • 3 drops vitamin E
  • 10 drops essential oil (whichever you prefer)

 

Directions:

  • Melt all ingredients except for the essential oil and vitamin E together; remove from heat
  • Add the remaining ingredients; stir well
  • Transfer the mixture into molds and let it set and cool completely
  • Remove the lotion bars from the molds
  • (If you are having trouble doing this-stick the molds in the freezer for 1/2 hour and this should help to remove them easily)

 

*Adding more cocoa butter to the lotion bar will soften it up if it is too hard (you can re-melt these at any time)

*Adding more beeswax beads to the lotion was will harden it up if it is too soft
