Glowing Skin Smoothie

Give your skin a healthy and natural glow with this green smoothie that is packed with lots of minerals and vitamins!

 

What you need:

  • 1 c. kale
  • 1 c. spinach
  • 1 pear
  • 1 orange
  • 1 banana
  • 1 c. seedless grapes
  • 1 c. ice
  • 1 c. coconut water
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds

What you do:

  • Remove the core and seeds from the pear and peel and pit the orange; add them to your blender
  • Add the remaining ingredients to your blender and blend all until smooth
  • Enjoy your smoothie immediately

Moisturizing Orange Face Mask Recipe

Moisturize dry and dull skin with this yummy facial mask!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal (or instant unflavored oatmeal)
  • Juice from 1 orange
  • 3 tbsp. plain yogurt (Greek yogurt works best)
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. dried orange peel

 

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well
  • Spread an even layer of mixture onto face (avoiding eye area)
  • Let sit for 15-30 minutes (the longer the better)
  • Rinse with warm water

*Can last up to 1 week when stored in an airtight container in the fridge

Blueberry Facial Mask Recipe

Nourish dry and dull skin with this summery blueberry face mask!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 blueberries
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. olive or grape seed oil

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients together using a fork or blender; mix well
  • Apply to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Let sit for 5-10 minutes
  • Rinse with water
