Hydrating and Nourishing Egg White Face Mask

All of the vitamins and healthy fats in this 3 ingredient face mask are just what you need to combat dry skin.  Your skin will be left looking and feeling soft, smooth and healthy.

 

What you need:

  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp. greek yogurt (plain)

What you do:

  • Mash the avocado in a bowl until you get a creamy and lump-free paste-like consistency
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well until you have a creamy paste
  • Apply the mixture to a clean face and let it sit for 15 minutes
  • Rinse the mixture off with warm water and follow up with a moisturizer

Tomato Juice Facial Mask for Oily Skin

Tomato Juice Facial Mask

A tomato juice mask to calm oily and acne prone skin!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe tomato

 

Directions:

  • Mash/juice a ripe tomato into a small bowl
  • Use a cotton ball to apply a thin layer of the tomato juice to a clean face
  • Let sit for 10 minutes
  • Rinse with water

Ingredients:

  • 1 cob of corn

 

Directions:

  • Grate a fresh cob of corn, straining off the liquid that comes from it
  • Gently pat the corn liquid onto a clean face
  • Let sit for 15-20 minutes
  • Rinse with cold water

Soothing Moisture Facial Cream Recipe

Hydrate your face with this easy to make soothing facial cream!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. aloe vera pulp (scraped from leaf)
  • 1 tsp. honey

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; whip together with a fork until it becomes smooth
  • Gently apply to a clean face by massaging into skin for a few minutes

*You can use this cream two days in a row if stored in the fridge between uses.  However, any left over after the second use should be tossed.

Moisturizing Avocado and Aloe D.I.Y. Eye Mask

Sooth puffy and tired eyes with this moisturizing eye mask!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel

Directions:

  • Mash the avocado using a fork into the aloe vera gel
  • Apply under eyes onto clean skin
  • Let sit for 10 minutes
  • Gently wipe off and rinse with warm water

Blueberry Aloe Eye Mask D.I.Y.

Give your eyes a relaxing and cooling eye treatment on a hot summer day that will leave them looking bright and refreshed!

Ingredients:

  • Handful cold blueberries
  • 2 tbsp. aloe vera gel

Directions:

  • Mash blueberries using a fork
  • Add the aloe vera gel to the mashed blueberries; stir well
  • Gently dab the mixture under your eyes
  • Let sit for 20 minutes
  • Gently wipe away mask and rinse with lukewarm water
