Apple, Pear and Mint Facial Cleanser

A make-at-home moisturizing facial cleanser that is suitable for dry to normal skin types!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 5 slices pear
  • 5 slices apple
  • 5 slices cucumber
  • 1 tsp. dried mint
  • Few drops of honey

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender; blend until mixture is smooth
  • Apply to face and neck; gently massage mixture into skin
  • Rinse with water

*Can be refrigerated in and used daily for up to a week

Yogurt Facial Cleanser Recipe

Cleanse and smooth skin with this yummy and healthy facial cleanser!

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. yogurt (plain only)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. applesauce

 

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; blend well (you can blend by hand or by using a blender)
  • Apply to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Gently massage into skin
  • Rinse with warm water

Skin Brightening Turmeric Face Mask

Turmeric Face Mask
Brighten up dull and lifeless skin with this easy to make skin brightening mask!

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
  • Few drops honey
  • Oily skin: 1/4 cup yogurt & few drops lemon juice
  • Dry skin: 2 tbsp. olive, almond or coconut oil

 

Directions:

  • Combine flour and turmeric; mix
  • Add remaining ingredients (based on whether you have oily or dry skin); mix well
  • Apply to face and neck and let sit for 15-20 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

 

*Turmeric will stain so when rinsing your face be sure to use a washcloth that you don’t mind staining
