Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

Apple Cider

This hair rinse will leave hair looking super shiny and healthy!

Ingredients:

  • 2 sprigs chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cups warm water

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients (except the water); mix well
  • Store the mixture in a cool and dry place (not the fridge) for a week
  • Dilute a third of the mixture with the water; mix well
  • After shampooing hair, apply the mixture
  • Let sit for a few minutes
  • Rinse with water

Exfoliating and Clarifying Facial Mask Recipe

Pumpkin

An exfoliating and clarifying face mask that removes sweat, dirt, makeup and other impurities from pores!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp. canned pumpkin
  • 3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. rose water

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well
  • Apply to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Let sit for 15-20 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

Intense Hydrating Facial Mask Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 vitamin E capsule
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. heavy cream

Directions:

  • Break open the vitamin E capsule and drain into a small bowl
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the vitamin E capsule contents; mix well to form a smooth consistency
  • Apply to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Let sit for 15-20 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

Lemon Yogurt Face Mask for Acne Marks

Banish pesky acne marks by making this lemon yogurt mask!  The lemon will exfoliate and lighten acne marks helping them to fade over time.  The remaining ingredients all have beneficial properties too, helping to hydrate and sooth skin as well as by boosting your skins ability to protect itself!

  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 4 tsp. lemon juice
  • 3 tsp. plain yogurt (Greek yogurt is best)
  • 1 egg white

 

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients; mix well to form a thick consistency
  • Apply mixture to a clean face (avoid the eye area)
  • Let sit for 15 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

 

*If stored in an airtight container in the fridge this mixture can last up to a week

Grape and Honey Face Mask

Ingredients:

  • 5 grapes
  • 1 tbsp. honey

Directions:

  • Use a spoon or a mortar to mush the grapes into a puree
  • Add the honey
  • Apply to a clean face (avoid eye area)
  • Let sit for 30 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water

  • 1 egg yolk

 

Directions:

  • Combine the oatmeal and milk; mix well
  • Gently exfoliate your face with this mixture to rid it of any impurities and makeup
  • Rinse with warm water and pat face dry
